I read up to page 34 to page 40When Peter and Janet went to the hill where Old Tolly lived. They both agreed that he was in the old cottage. When they went to the cottage he was not there. They both went to the garden and saw a woman. Peter was very surprised to see a woman living with Old Tolly and he said hello to her.
When she noticed Peter and Janet looking at her she said hello back to them. They went outside and saw that Old Tolly was coming back home. The Woman said to them, " he was shopping". Old Tolly laughed. Peter and Janet ran to Old Tolly and they started having a little conversation with him.
In the talk Old Tolly said that Brownie the horse and Codger the dog are his best friends.
Old Tolly also said that he was broken hearten when the very heavy cart rolled on his back legs.
